MEET KATJA

Founder of Accretios

Executive Visibility Strategist

For more than 20 years, I have worked at the intersection of B2B marketing, communication, and leadership. I have led international teams, worked alongside senior executives, and helped organizations translate strategy into communication that people can understand, trust, and act on.

Today, I help CEOs, founders, and senior leaders become clear, credible, and trusted voices, so their leadership is understood, and their visibility strengthens the organizations they lead.

My work brings together executive positioning, leadership communication, and thought leadership to help leaders build trust with the people who matter to their organization. Employees. Customers. Partners. Industry stakeholders. And the wider market.

Because strong leadership should not remain hidden in meeting rooms, strategy documents, or conversations with a small circle of people.

It deserves to be understood.

I have always enjoyed helping other people shine

What motivates me most is not so much standing in the spotlight myself, but helping other people step into it.

That has been a consistent thread throughout my career.

In my management roles, I enjoyed giving team members the trust, space and opportunities they needed to take ownership, develop their strengths and show what they could do.

Today, I bring that same approach to the leaders I advise. I help them make their expertise, vision and leadership more visible. Not by turning them into someone they are not. By helping them communicate more clearly as the leader they already are.

For me, executive visibility is not about ego, popularity or being present on every possible platform. It is about helping the right people understand:

  • who you are as a leader;

  • what you stand for;

  • where you are taking the organization;

  • why your perspective matters.

That is how visibility starts to build trust.

BOTH PERSPECTIVES

More than 20 years on both sides of leadership communication

I have spent more than 20 years working at the intersection of B2B marketing, communication, leadership, and business strategy.

For more than 15 years, I held senior international leadership roles. I managed teams, advised executives, and worked with stakeholders across different countries, functions, and levels of the organization.

I understand the executive perspective. And the stakeholder perspective.

I understand how executives think and make decisions. I know the pressure they work under. The limited time they have. The complexity behind their choices. The expectations they need to manage. And the challenge of communicating clearly when not every detail can be shared.

But I also understand what their stakeholders need.

Employees want to understand where the organisation is going, why decisions are being made and what those decisions mean for their work.

Customers want clarity about the value, direction and reliability of the company they choose to work with.

Partners want confidence in the relationship and the ambitions behind it.

The wider market wants a clear point of view and credible leadership it can recognise and trust.

My strength is seeing those different perspectives and connecting them.

"My strength is seeing those different perspectives and connecting them."

I help leaders translate strategy, decisions, and ambition into communication that works at the executive level and resonates with the people who need to understand, support, or act on it.

Effective executive visibility is not only about how a leader is perceived. It is about creating understanding, trust, and alignment between leadership and the people around the organization.

Executive visibility is a business

and leadership discipline

My background includes:

  • Executive and corporate communication

  • Strategic positioning and thought leadership

  • Internal and external communication

  • PR, reputation and stakeholder engagement

  • B2B marketing and content strategy

  • International and cross-functional leadership

That experience allows me to approach executive visibility as more than a personal branding or social media exercise.

I understand how leadership, communication, marketing, reputation, employee engagement and commercial priorities influence each other.

A leader’s visibility should support the organization’s strategy. It should strengthen internal understanding. It should build confidence among customers and partners.

And it should contribute to a credible position in the wider market.

That broader perspective helps me see what your visibility needs to achieve, not only what you should communicate next.

Visibility starts inside the organization,

but does not end there

Many executive visibility services focus almost exclusively on LinkedIn,

media coverage, or external thought leadership.

Those channels matter.

But a leader’s reputation is built across every important stakeholder relationship.

INTERNAL VISIBILITY

Helping employees understand your direction, decisions and priorities.

Clear leadership communication strengthens trust, involvement and alignment inside the organisation.

EXTERNAL VISIBILITY

Helping customers, partners and the wider market understand your expertise, vision and point of view.

This can include thought leadership, LinkedIn, media positioning, presentations and other relevant communication channels.

ONE CONSISTENT VOICE

Internal and external communication should reinforce each other.

Employees, customers and market stakeholders may need different messages and levels of detail. But they should recognise the same leader. The same direction. And the same values.

Internal and external communication come from the same leadership positioning.

The goal is not attention for its own sake.

The goal is trust, influence, and stronger relationships with the people who matter to your organization.

Why I started Accretios

The name Accretios is inspired by the Latin word "accretio", meaning gradual growth. That idea has always resonated with me.

Sustainable growth rarely comes from one big campaign, one viral post, or one moment in the spotlight.

It is built gradually. Through clear choices. Consistent communication. Strong relationships. And the confidence to keep moving forward.

I created Accretios to bring clarity and structure to that process.

Today, Accretios is the home of my Strategic Executive Visibility services, the STREAM™ Framework, and practical resources for leaders and marketing communication professionals.

Some leaders want an experienced advisor beside them over time. Others need a focused strategic roadmap they can implement with their own team. And some prefer to start independently with practical tools, templates, and learning resources.

Accretios supports each of those paths.

The STREAM™ Framework

Strategic visibility should not depend on inspiration, isolated opportunities, or last-minute communication requests.

It needs a system.

The Accretios STREAM™ Framework connects:

  • strategy;

  • targeting;

  • reliable systems;

  • execution;

  • alignment;

  • momentum.

It provides structure without forcing every leader into the same formula.

Because the goal is not to manufacture a personal brand. It is to make your real leadership more visible.

What you can expect from me

STRATEGIC DEPTH

I look beyond the immediate communication request and connect it to your leadership role, stakeholders and business priorities.

PRACTICAL GUIDANCE

Strategy only creates value when it can be used.

I translate direction into clear choices, messages and manageable actions.

HONEST HUMAN SPARRING

I ask questions, challenge assumptions and help you find an approach that feels credible and sustainable.

The goal is not attention for its own sake.

The goal is trust, influence, and stronger relationships with the people who matter to your organization.

You are not hiring someone to make you louder.

You are working with an experienced strategic partner

who helps you become clearer, more consistent, and more trusted.

A bit more about me

I am naturally curious and at my best when strategy, creativity, and people come together.

I am based in Belgium and work remotely with leaders and organizations across Europe and beyond.

Outside work, I love traveling, discovering different cultures and spending time near the sea. Spain has become a second home for my husband and me, and few things help me think more clearly than warm weather, an open horizon and a beautiful sunset.

Throughout the different industries, roles and countries I have worked in, one thing has remained remarkably consistent: I enjoy understanding what makes people and organizations valuable, bringing structure to their story and helping others recognize that value too.
